Kolkata, September 09 : Jadavpur University has witnessed a change in its administrative leadership with Salim Box Mondal being removed from the post of Registrar.
Following the change, Professor Debjit Dutta of the Department of History has been appointed as the new Registrar of the university. He will now take charge of the responsibilities associated with the Registrar’s office.
The appointment brings a new face to one of the key administrative positions at Jadavpur University. Professor Dutta will oversee the duties and functions attached to the Registrar’s post as the university continues to carry out its academic and administrative operations.
The development comes amid the university’s ongoing management of its institutional, academic and administrative affairs.
With the change, Debjit Dutta will now serve as the Registrar of Jadavpur University, succeeding Salim Box Mondal.
