Siliguri: The Income Tax Office in Siliguri organised two important initiatives aimed at promoting employee welfare, women empowerment and appreciation for support staff.
The events included the inauguration of ‘AROGYA’, a First Aid Room, and a cultural programme titled ‘SHAKTI VANDANAM – Swachhata Evam Shakti Samaroh’.
The inauguration of the AROGYA First Aid Room marked an initiative focused on providing first-aid support within the office premises. The cultural programme highlighted the importance of women's empowerment and recognised the valuable contributions of Safai Karamcharis and other support personnel.
As part of the ceremony, deserving staff members were felicitated with prizes in recognition of their efforts and service. The event served as an opportunity to acknowledge the people whose contributions help maintain cleanliness and support the smooth functioning of the workplace.
Through these initiatives, the Siliguri Income Tax Office brought together the themes of workplace well-being, dignity of labour, cleanliness and women's empowerment.
