The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will organise a rally in Siliguri on Tuesday as part of its statewide political campaign. The march is scheduled to begin at Baghajatin Park and proceed towards Airview More, where Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari is expected to address a public gathering.
The programme is aimed at raising issues surrounding democratic values and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. BJP leaders and elected representatives from across North Bengal are expected to participate in the event.
Security arrangements have been strengthened ahead of the Chief Minister’s visit, with police officials reviewing the rally route and other arrangements. The event is also expected to draw significant political attention in North Bengal.
