Khoribari: The festive spirit of Durga Puja was celebrated with devotion at Mahabir Sthan in Khoribari, where the Durgotsab organised by Khoribari Sabuj Welfare Sangh was inaugurated.
The occasion reflected the deep-rooted faith and cultural traditions associated with the worship of Maa Durga. The Goddess is revered as a symbol of divine power, courage and protection, inspiring devotees to seek strength and peace in their lives.
On the occasion, the dignitary who inaugurated the celebration offered prayers to Maa Durga and conveyed wishes for happiness, prosperity and well-being for every family.
The Sanskrit invocation, “Sarvasvarupe Sarveshe Sarvashakti Samanvite, Bhayebhyas Trahi No Devi Durge Devi Namostute,” expresses a prayer to the Goddess, seeking protection from fear and adversity.
The inauguration also acknowledged the efforts of all members of Khoribari Sabuj Welfare Sangh for organising the celebration and bringing the community together during the auspicious festive period.
