Former BJP MP Dilip Ghosh launched a fresh attack on West Bengal Former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee during a programme in Shyambazar on Monday, alleging widespread corruption and mounting public anger against the state government.
Former BJP MP Dilip Ghosh claimed that people have begun openly raising “thief” slogans against the West Bengal Former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over alleged corruption in the state. He alleged that several leaders associated with the ruling establishment accumulated assets worth hundreds of crores despite having no known business activities.
Referring to Anubrata Mondal, Former BJP MP Dilip Ghosh alleged that another leader from the same district was recently found to possess assets worth around ₹350 crore. He also claimed that a Red Corner Notice had been issued against Tulu Mondal, whom he alleged was absconding abroad.
Former BJP MP Dilip Ghosh also raised the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital case, alleging that a woman doctor who had been on duty for 36 hours was brutally killed. He further alleged that a green corridor was arranged from the hospital to the crematorium to expedite the cremation and claimed that the victim’s parents were not allowed to see the body.
On the SSC recruitment issue, Former BJP MP Dilip Ghosh welcomed the inclusion of three monks from the Ramakrishna Mission in the newly formed committee. He described them as educationists without political affiliations and said their presence could help improve transparency in the recruitment process.
Former BJP MP Dilip Ghosh concluded his remarks by saying that the developments were only the beginning and claimed that Former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee would face greater public anger in the days ahead.
